Ozzy Osbourne with son Jack and the Red Hot Chili Peppers

Metal music legend and “Prince of Darkness” Ozzy Osbourne and America’s funk music heroes Red Hot Chili Peppers will soon be invading a movie theater near you!

It’s been announced that an Ozzy Osbourne documentary (shown through the eyes of his son Jack) called “God Bless Ozzy Osbourne”, will be released first in San Antonio, Texas on Aug. 24, then nationwide following that.  The film, shines light on the “Crazy Train” singer, and includes unseen footage of Black Sabbath, as well recent solo tour clips, and guest appearances from Tommy Lee and Paul McCartney, according to Examiner.com.

Funky rock icons in their own right, the Red Hot Chili Peppers are also coming to your local big screen, concert style!  The band announced that on Aug. 30, 450 theaters across the U.S. will broadcast a live performance of the band, coinciding with the release of their album I’m With You, to be released the same day.  The film shows the musical ensemble “Give It Away” to audiences by playing the new album the whole way through, before performing their older hits.

I wonder if it will be like “The Osbornes” and be funny? I feel like I’ve seen enough of Ozzy’s life. And RHCPs? Meh.
