Krist Novoselic, former bassist for Nirvana, is joining a growing list of musicians set to perform at a benefit concert in Seattle.
The concert, to be held at the EMP Sky Church in Seattle on September 20th, will showcase local musical acts such as the Fastbacks, Visqeen, Ravenna Woods, and now, Krist Novoselic. The artists are set to play the full Nevermind album during the show, which fittingly will be 4 days shy of the acclaimed album’s 20th anniversary.
Foo Fighter’s Dave Grohl, will not be in attendance to rock the drums unfortunately, due to his band’s conflicting tour dates, according to Rollingstone.com.
The gig’s earnings will go to Susie Tennant, Nirvana’s former publicist, who was diagnosed with cancer recently.
Tickets are on sale for $15 for EMP members, and $20 for general admission. For more details, visit the EMP Museum website HERE.
