Ben Flajnik at his Sonoma winery named Evolve
Well, color me ‘not so surprised’; Ben Flajnik is going to be the next Bachelor to appear on the popular ABC show.
Flajnik, who was the runner-up to the most recent season’s Bachelorette with Ashley Herbert, who instead chose J.P. Rosenbaum as her knight in shining armor, is set to be the new Bachelor, reports Entertainment Weekly.
Though it hasn’t been announced officially yet by the network, the word on the gossip street is, it’s pretty much a done deal…and one that isn’t too much of a surprise to most, either.
As we reported here on Celebrity Smack recently, the 28-year-old Sonoma winemaker made headlines by going on a date with Jennifer Love Hewitt, but it seems that relationship was quickly obsolete, if it ever even was one.
I see Ben as a perfect pick for the show; mostly for the reason that he has that slutty-dating-game-mentality that is essential for the show’s ratings. He seems like a nice guy, but from watching the show you could tell he a) seems like a commitment-phobe, and b) has lived thus far by being a player. So, best of luck to him!
