Dita Von Teese is a Picture Perfect Summer Beauty

Dita Von Teese, wearing a stunning retro inspired cocktail dress, is hard to take your eyes off of.

Everything about her is so flawless, whether she is onstage performing, shopping in Los Angeles or going to the gym. She takes particular care of the small details and every outfit she puts together looks as though it came straight from the 1950s-60s. Honestly, she reminds me of the vintage 1960s Barbie dolls that my great-grandmother gave me as a little girl in the early 70s. Maybe that’s why I am fascinated with her.

I love that she is my age too, proof you can look good as you grow old ladies, never fear. Her skin pretty much kicks my skin’s ass though. I chose to be the sun loving, baby oil wearing, carefree 20-something as Dita was slathering on the SPF 80. Look who’s paying for it now…not Dita!
