Joseph Gordon-Levitt Hops On the Nirvana Bandwagon

Joseph Gordon-Levitt giving his sexy look, and winning!

Joseph Gordon-Levitt did a pretty honest rendition of Nirvana’s Lithium Tuesday night in Seattle, WA, during a concert to promote his collaborative art and media production company that’s based online called hitRECord.

Any time I see Joseph Gordon-Levitt, I immediately think of his character on the TV show 3rd Rock From The Sun, (oh and we can’t forget the movie 10 Things I Hate About You), which I loved as a kid.  I know he is a very established actor, with major talent, and has been in tons of movies since the show but he doesn’t age much, and has kept that youthful, geeky, handsomeness he has had all the way through to adulthood.  Now 33, JGL is showing off even more bottled-up talent, with the inception (pun intended) of his production company, and now sharing with the world his musical skills.

Before breaking into the Nirvana cover, JGL told the crowd, “Now and again it’s nice to do something that’s not for the record, but that’s just for tonight, for the f–k of it,” adding, “I break the rules and play something I don’t own the intellectual property too. So if you record this, you can’t put it on our site, but put it on other sites. I really don’t care what the f–k you do with it because I just really want to play this song, in this town.”

Little did I know that JGL has actually been into playing music for several years now.  Go figure!

I also stumbled upon an older video of JGL doing his best Gaga impression!  Click HERE to see him cover Bad Romance!

He gives the same spiel in most of his concerts (not that I am complaining!). My favorite is when he sings La Valse a Mille Temps.
