Adele Looks Graceful on the Cover of Vogue

Adele shows her true beauty in the October issue of British Vogue

Having major talent, loads of money and unthinkable fame apparently isn’t enough to calm the nerves one has to deal with when battling stage fright…just ask Adele.

The soulful beauty told British Vogue her dirty little secret: that she vomits frequently before going on stage to sing her heart out.  She tells the mag, “I puke quite a lot before going on stage”, but assures us, “never actually on stage.”

Well thank goodness for that!

Adele swears though, that the more she wigs out before a show, the better her performance is.  She says, “I sh*t myself before everything…The bigger the freak-out, the more I enjoy the show!”

Luckily, the puke-a-thon is the result of nerves and not an eating disorder so many celebs seem to have these days.  Adele seems to have her head on straight when she talks about her body image.

Talking about Hollywood’s infatuation with dieting and ‘having the perfect body’, Adele declares, “I’ve seen people where it rules their lives, who want to be thinner or have bigger boobs, and how it wears them down.”  She adds, “And I don’t want that in my life…I have [body] insecurities, of course, but I don’t hang out with anyone who points them out to me.”

The “Rolling in the Deep” singer, although currently single, says she is not opposed to having a relationship, if the right man comes along.  As for motherhood, Adele sees herself having little boys, but little girls?  Not so much.

She reveals, “I’ve always got on better with boys. Most of my friends are boys. Like, if I have children, I want five boys. Boys love their mothers whereas girls can be so mean to each other.”

I see some truth to that, but unfortunately you can’t ‘choose’ a gender, unless you adopt!  She’ll figure it out I’m sure. Heh.

If you want to read more fun stuff on Adele, you’ll have to pick up the October issue of the British Vogue, which comes out this Thursday.
