Anthony Michael Hall arrested after neighborly dispute
Former Brat Packer Anthony Michael Hall was arrested Monday night after being involved in a bizarre incident at the condominium complex where he resides.
According to police, Hall’s neighbor heard a ruckus outside Monday evening and when he investigated he found Hall, 43, ripping up shrubbery outside. When asked what he was doing, Hall responded aggressively, threatening to beat the neighbor “to a pulp.” Later Anthony Michael Hall returned to the neighbor’s door and knocked. When the man answered, Hall provoked him to fight. The neighbor called police and Hall was arrested soon thereafter.
This isn’t anything new, say neighbors. Those who live near Hall claim he has often terrorized people by screaming profanity at them, squirting a hose at them, and egging them on to fight. Sounds like a mental - or drug – problem. One neighbor told TMZ: ”I have considered buying a gun to stay safe from Hall. He’s the scariest person I’ve ever encountered in my life.”
I don’t remember Anthony Michael Hall ever getting into trouble like this, so I have a hunch he might have addiction issues. Curious to see what his mug shot looks like. Sometimes those say a lot. Dang, I used to love this guy in the 80s. I was all about The Brat Pack. Hall delivered his lines so brilliantly and played the curious teenager so well, that he will always be remembered for that. Unfortunately as he outgrew the role, his career fizzled. Hopefully he won’t fall victim to the child actor syndrome, but actually, it seems he may already have. Bummer.
