Madonna not surrounding herself with hydrangeas of any kind
Through her rep, Madonna releases a statement regarding her loathing of hydrangeas.
Fresh off Madonna’s snide comments bashing hydrangeas after receiving a bouquet of them as a gift from a reporter at the Venice Film Festival, the video of her being a bitch about how much she loathes the flowers has gone viral, snagging over 1 million views on YouTube since it was released. Apparently things have gotten so serious with the negativity towards Madonna now that she felt the need to go into damage control mode with her rep releasing a statement regarding the whole ordeal.
“She’s entitled to like any flower she wants and she didn’t want to hurt the feeling of the hydrangeas of the world,” read the short statement. “No disrespect to the hydrangeas lovers of the world but she prefers different types of flowers.”
So basically, “Go f**k yourselves.” Madonna could have insulted the flowers to their faces, but she didn’t want to do that, hoping hydrangeas around the world would continue to feel good about themselves, something that might not be possible if they knew they didn’t have the love of Madonna. However, Madonna can like any flower she wants, and, if you don’t like it, that’s too damn bad. It doesn’t even have to be a flower. It can be a jar full of green M&Ms that Madonna insists on calling flowers, and you’ll just have to deal with it, because she’s Madonna dammit, and she can do whatever the hell she wants. Now suck on that.
