Megan Fox Sits Down For An Interview

A new side of Megan Fox is on display in an interview to promote her new film FRIENDS WITH KIDS.

You can say what you want about Megan Fox, but I continue to stress to those around me, in defense of the actress, that we’ve yet to really see what she’s capable of. As far as her acting goes, she’s been slammed as being just another talentless pretty face, but you can’t really judge one’s career on a pair of Michael Bay TRANSFORMERS movies. JENNIFER’S BODY wasn’t quite the film I had hoped it would be, and JONAH HEX was downright terrible, but she was only in it for about 3 ½ minutes, so it’s really not fair to blame her for that atrocity. When you look beyond all of that, it’s just another unproven actress, who, for some reason, is bashed incessantly… and why? Because sometimes she says dumb things on a regular basis…? Who doesn’t? I’m called an “a**hole” at least four times every day… sometimes double that when the weekend hits. But that doesn’t mean I’m a horrible person. It just may mean I’m misunderstood or that you don’t know the real me.

Scott Feinberg of The Hollywood Reporter recently got to sit down with Megan Fox at the Toronto International Film Festival, where she was premiering her new film FRIENDS WITH KIDS, and I highly advise giving it a fair, open-minded view, as this is definitely a side of Megan Fox on display that we rarely see. She’s very forthcoming and very honest, something that has gotten her in trouble in the past before, but that seems a bit less outrageous in its delivery here. If after this, you still feel the need to bash her, that’s your prerogative. But I’m frankly a little surprised at the Megan Fox talking here, and hope we get more of her, allowing her to be known more for her acting than her words.
