A new book coming out claims that possible 2012 presidential candidate and former Governor of Alaska Sarah Palin, has had quite a colorful past.
The tell-all book in question is The Rogue: Searching for The Real Sarah Palin, written by top-selling author Joe McGinniss, who apparently moved into a home next to the Palin’s while working on the risqué piece.
Famous gossip rag National Enquirer gathered some info from “[p]ublishing sources familiar with the contents” of the book (via NYMag.com), and what follows, may or may not shock you…
Palin allegedly had a single-night tryst with NBA star Glen Rice back in 1987, when he was still in college. According to McGinniss, Rice confirmed this! What’s even more scandalous is that her and her (now) husband Todd, were said to have been an item at the time of the affair, and were married just 9 months after!
In other Palin-affair hearsay, the recurring speculation that Palin had a fling with Todd’s business partner Brad Hanson, sometime in the 90’s, also made its way in the book. Todd evidently ended his business relationship with Hanson once he found out about the betrayal.
McGinniss drops another bombshell about the political princess…she is said to have been an admirer of the ol’ nose candy. She was reportedly seen “snorting cocaine off an overturned 55-gallon oil drum while snowmobiling with pals”. Wow, if that’s made up, that is one elaborate (and funny) fable!
Although I’m not sure if I believe the spicy rumors, it sure makes for good gossip nonetheless!
The controversial book will be available to the public in just a few days (September 20th, 2011 to be exact!), so if this is your thang, pick up a copy!
