A crew member on CHARLIE’S ANGELS is fired for slapping star Minka Kelly’s ass.
If you ever land a job on the set of a movie or television production and you want to keep it, you might want to consider not following through on that urge to slap one of the stars on the ass… at least if you want to keep working there. Otherwise, if you have no regard whatsoever for your future employment, then wind up and put your hips into it, because you’re going to pay for that booty knock with your job.
You’d think this would be obvious, but not so much on the set of ABC’s remake of CHARLIE’S ANGELS, where a crew member was terminated for hauling off and slapping Minka Kelly’s ass. Yeah, that’s professional. TMZ reports that Kelly responded by telling the guy, “Please don’t ever disrespect me or any other woman like that again” before witnesses reported it to the network’s higher-ups. But with reports that this wasn’t the first time said dude behaved like this, it was no surprise when he was banned from the set and handed his walking papers.
I hope that quick booty knock was worth it, man… because the unemployment line isn’t a fun place to be, not in this economy. He may think he went out in a blaze of glory, but getting fired for this (which is a half-assed attempt at sexual harassment) is actually below getting fired for stealing office supplies. That’s embarassing.
