Weezer To Headline On Cruise Festival

Drift away with Weezer and friends

Weezer recently announced they will rock the house, as well as renew your wedding vows during their fantastic musical cruise festival!

The four-day Carnival cruise will start in Miami, Florida on January 19th and travels to Cozumel and back on January 23rd, and will feature a total of 16 bands including Weezer, Dinosaur Jr., Sebadoh, Gene Ween, and The Antlers, according to NME.com.

Weezer will be performing their popular Pinkerton and The Blue Album records in full during the four-day adventure, as well as hosting a ‘Weezer Q+A’ and taking pictures with fans.

Rivers Cuomo is supposed to read from his book The Pinkerton Diaries in a live show, and Weezer bassist Scott Shriner will be performing wedding vow renewal ceremonies for couples on board.

Other planned events include a midnight movie fiesta presented by Weezer guitarist Brian Bell, and a shuffleboard tournament hosted by Weezer drummer Pat Wilson.

Funzies!

I don’t know about y’all, but this sounds like a freaking blast!  To actually go on vacation with bands you love, sounds like a dream come true!  Very cool!

Cruise ticket prices start at $799 per person for a double cabin, while groups of four will be able to attend for $599 each.
