Well, I guess if you’re going to star in a movie as bad as WHAT’S YOUR NUMBER?, you’d better be prepared to talk about what your number is, in order to keep anyone talking about it up to and through its forgettable theatrical release. That would explain why Anna Faris put out there how many dudes she slept with before settling down and marrying husband Chris Pratt back in 2009. Otherwise, why else would you freely offer that information up? I didn’t care to know. I doubt her husband really was interested in that little factoid. But now we’re all aware. The answer is five.

Tuesday night before a screening of the film, Faris told Marie Claire editor Joanna Coles (via Fox News) that she could only count the number of partners she had sexy time with on one hand. “Don’t you think five is kind of low? I’m 34! I’m not a very good lover. I’m so nervous about my sexuality.” Don’t worry about your number, Anna. Whether it’s five or 50 or 89, it’s no big deal. Women have needs, too… and before anyone starts jumping into the pool with labels of “slut,” “skank,” “whore,” or “ho,” let me shut you down right now. Different people view sex differently. There’s no need to judge others who may engage in it more frequently, just as there’s no need to judge those who aren’t having it as often. As long as people are being safe, it doesn’t concern you what others are doing in the bedroom. I’ll get off my soapbox now. I’m afraid of heights.
