Courtney Love To Write Autobiography

Hole’s wild child frontwoman Courtney Love has scored a book deal in an attempt to ‘set the record straight’ about her controversial life as a rockstar, actress, mother, and wife.

Her penned life story will recount her drug issues, her rise to Hollywood fame (or infamy, however you want to look at it), and her relationship with husband Kurt Cobain, who committed suicide in 1994.  Love will also offer up some juicy details on other past loves including Billy Corgan and Edward Norton.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Love will be teaming up with famed rock journalist Anthony Bozza, who has previously worked as a co-author of bestselling autobiographies such as Slash’s Slash, INXS’ Story to Story, and Tommy Lee’s Tommyland.

The as of yet untitled tell-all memoir will be published by William Morrow (under HarperCollins) and is set to come out late next year.

Currently Ms. Love and the rest of Hole have been promoting their latest album Nobody’s Daughter, which was released in 2010.  Although not technically on tour anymore, they have played shows on and off.

Interestingly enough, there hasn’t been any wacky, attention-starved Courtney Love stories popping up lately, so is it the quiet before the Courtney chaos storm or what?

Either way, as nuts as she is, Courtney does seem to lead a colorful life, so this book is gonna be a ‘go’ for me…plus, I love a good, juicy biography.
