Legendary jazz singer Tony Bennett and mega popstar Lady Gaga have remade the 1937 show tune “The Lady is a Tramp” and have just released the official video accompanying the song!
The modernized rendition comes off Bennett’s “Duets II” album (released September 20th), which has recently topped the U.S. Billboard charts, and features other popular hits with the likes of Mariah Carey, Michael Bublé, John Mayer, and the late Amy Winehouse.
The video shows Gaga vamping’ it up in a black lace dress, aqua blue hair (wig), ruby red lips, with an occasional cocktail in hand, while Bennett looks dapper in a black suit and red handkerchief. The two even break out in an adorable dance towards the middle of the song.
This famous song has been redone many, many times before, but somehow this duo has given it a modern, funky edge. I love the song, and I absolutely love Gaga’s look in it. Cute, cute, cute!
