Bret Michaels will be bringing some rock love to your pets!
Bret Michaels, best known for being the lead vocalist and sometimes guitarist of the renowned glam band Poison (this I know all too well), as well as an actor, director, screenwriter, producer and reality television personality (thanks Wiki!), has now branched out into the pet accessory world!
The rock ‘n’ roller has made a deal with PetSmart to design pet wear and accessories, according to CNN (via the Hollywood Reporter). The pet line will apparently include everything from clothing, collars and leashes to pet bedding and food bowls. Hardcore! Ha!
Talking about the line, Michaels, 48, said, “As a dedicated pet owner myself, this is a natural partnership for me, and I can’t wait to unveil the collection. I know my own pets rock, and I wanted to design a line of pet products every bit as fun and cool as they are.”
For PetSmart, this new designer pet line will hopefully bring a whole new ‘hipness’ to the store. The VP of merchandising, Matt McAdam says it best, “Adding the Bret Michaels Pets Rock collection to PetSmart stores enables us to continue to meet our pet parents’ needs with a ‘cool’ line of products from an entertainer with a demonstrated passion for our four-legged family members.”
I’m not too proud to admit to my pet parenting ways, but I do like to act like my cat and dog are indeed my kids, and I treat them as such. I’m super excited for this line to come out. I think some Bret Michaels dog bandanas and guitar squeaky toys are in order! Oh and for my cat, some blond extensions….kidding!

I used to think Bret Michaels was the be all end all… But something about this makes me feel old, I will for sure get my kittys a leather jacket or an inflatable girl kitty from Bret’s collection!
