Adele cancels concert tour dates due to illness
Adele has been forced to cancel her 10-show tour in the U.S. after suffering a vocal cord hemorrhage.
It is not known at this time if or when the shows will be rescheduled. Earlier this year Adele had vocal chord problems as well, and unfortunately, those problems have sprung up for the singer once again. Adele has been touring like crazy over the past year and has not had sufficient time to heal her vocal chords so the doctors are suggesting she do so now.
The canceled concert shows and dates are listed below:
10/7 – Atlantic City, NJ
10/8 – Durham, NC
10/10 – Nashville, TN
10/11 – Asheville, NC
10/13 – Orlando, FL
10/14 – Miami, FL
10/16 – Atlanta, GA
10/18 – Spring, TX
10/19 – Austin, TX
10/21 – Grand Prairie, TX
Refunds should be sought where you purchased your Adele tickets.
Fans of Adele who have tickets to see the singer this month seem to have mixed feelings on the concert dates being canceled. Most are understanding, but some have lashed out at the singer on her official site.

KellyAmmons: Literally just cried for a good ten minutes. I am SO heartbroken and upset. I do wish you get better and gain back your health. But i am so upset. I have been counting down the days now and bragging to everyone. Even got custom shirts made.

Yes, it is always disappointing when shows cancel, but hey kids, it’s a part of it. Singers/performers are not robots, well, at least Adele is not, and things happen. Anyone ever tried singing day after day after day? A hard night of singing can ruin your voice for days. I can’t imagine singing as much as she does, and as hard as she does without any repercussion. Hang tight, grumpy impatient ones, she’ll be back, and it will be worth the wait.
