Michelle Rounds and Rosie O’Donnell last month in NYC
Rosie O’Donnell is happy as a clam with new girlfriend Michelle Rounds, an information technology headhunter, with whom she met randomly at a Starbucks a few months back.
The two ladies have gone public with their romance and were first spotted hand-in-hand in NYC at a Rosie’s Theater Kids charity event a couple of weeks ago. Amazingly, Rosie and her celebrity pals raised more than $1.1 million for the charity. Rosie beamed with Michelle Rounds on her arm as the couple strolled the event and mingled with those in attendance. Michelle is the first serious girlfriend for Rosie since her split with ex-wife Kelli Carpenter in 2007.
2007 was a rough time for Rosie, who also left The View that same year. She’s maintained a low profile since then, but Rosie O’Donnell is back, and she’s returning to television on October 10th with her new talk show, The Rosie Show, which will air on Oprah’s OWN network.
