You know, we all hear these weird rumors about celebrities faking pregnancies and having surrogates instead, but with Beyonce is there actually proof?
Conspiracy theorists will love this one. Pop superstar Beyonce announced her pregnancy at the 2011 MTV VMAs, proudly showing off her baby bump and making a really, really, big deal out of it, but some are wondering if Bey is even pregnant at all after a prosthetic, fake baby bump seemed to deflate in front of an HD camera during an appearance on Sunday Night HD. As Beyonce entered the room for the interview the baby bump looked real enough, but when she went to sit down….
First of all, Beyonce sat awkwardly. Why did she bend so far forward as she sat? Real pregnant women never do that and I bet we don’t see her doing it again. Fake Baby Bump Etiquette 101 is in order. Now, I’ll be honest, I never thought Beyonce was ever faking her pregnancy, that is until I saw this bizarre video.
After the fake baby bump deflates, it takes on the shape of that weird extra fold of skin an obese person has after losing an insane amount of weight. A “flap,” if you will. After Beyonce settles into her seat the fake bump bounces back into place, as does her smile, and Beyonce’s heart rate mellows. Did you see the look on her face the second she sits down? Pure panic. But it comes and goes quickly, you have to look for it.
Beyonce says her baby’s due date is in February, so if she really were pregnant she would definitely be showing, so why the fake baby bump? Does she not want to tax on her body? Is she (gasp!) bearding for Jay-Z? Oh the possibilities that will run through many minds…
Katie Holmes and Angelina Jolie are two other celebrities that come to mind in regards to having rumored “fake” pregnancies, but never before have we seen such proof. Bey, you got some splainin’ to do!
