Evan Rachel Wood reveals her obsession for teen heartthrob Justin Bieber
It seems Evan Rachel Wood will be adding Justin Bieber CDs to her music collection that does (or did), at one-time include her shock rocker ex’s Marilyn Manson.
I can totally respect an open-minded, and ultra varied musical taste. My iPod holds a little bit of everything as well. I can go from listening to Metallica, to Frank Sinatra, to Britney Spears, to Kenny Rogers…just to name a few) at any given second.
The 24-year-old “True Blood” actress visited the “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” show to talk about her new film “The Ides of March” (which looks pretty freakin’ awesome!). Somewhere during her and Fallon’s conversation, the gorgeous actress let it slip that her and a friend went to see the teenybopper megastar’s film “Never Say Never”, and came out of the screening a total fan (she ended up seeing it three times total!).
I saw that film this weekend thanks to Redbox and, I have to say, I felt the same way. I am not a huge fan of his musical style or songs (although they are catchy), but you gotta hand it to the kid…a musical prodigy from the age of 2…wow, just wow. Who knew how many different instruments he could play (and play them well!), along with actually being the main songwriter to his tracks, and singing live on stage! He’s not a bad dancer either!
Anyway, after admitting her love for the Biebs, Fallon asked her to break out her best Bieber impression, so after throwing on a black leather jacket to get into character, Woods messed with her hair “Bieber style” and belted out her best rendition of “Baby”.
According to AceShowbiz, the actress showed her Bieber love before by recording a video of her singing Bieber’s hit “U Smile” back in July. She has said that if she were to ever meet the teen heartthrob in person it would be odd, saying, “”It’s going to be weird if I ever meet him. He’s brought so much joy to my life.”
Well, whatever floats your boat I guess.
Fun fact: According to Wikipedia, in 2005, Wood starred in the music videos for the indie rock band Bright Eyes’ “At the Bottom of Everything”, and punk-pop group Green Day’s “Wake Me Up When September Ends”. She made her third music video vixen appearance in 2007, when she appeared alongside Marilyn Manson in “Heart-Shaped Glasses”, the song Manson said that she inspired.
