Omarosa’s brother Jack Manigault was shot and killed this weekend
Jack Manigault, the brother of Celebrity Apprentice villain Omarosa was shot and killed Sunday in his home in Youngstown, Ohio.
Manigault was sleeping with his girlfriend at his home Sunday when a gunman broke into the home, firing multiple shots. Jack Manigault was shot in the head, and although he made an attempt to flee, he died shortly after. He was 40 years old. The suspect, Marco Cardenas, 22, was an ex-boyfriend of Manigailt’s girlfriend. He was arrested soon after the murder.
Omarosa, best known for her role on Donald Trump’s reality show, The Apprentice, released the following statement to the media through her publicist:
“We can confirm that there is an ongoing investigation concerning the death of Omarosa’s brother Jack Manigault Jr. Omarosa loved her brother dearly in spite of his many legal struggles in the past. He recently gave his life to Christ and the two were in talks to write a book about both of their unique paths to ministry. It is a very difficult time for Omarosa and her family. She wishes for some level of privacy for the sake of her brother’s four children and her family during this difficult time.”
A viewing for Jack Manigault will be held Friday and a memorial service is planned for Saturday.
Very sad news indeed. Reality villain or angel, no one deserves to go through what Omarosa is undoubtedly going through now.
