Marvel Studios premieres the first teaser trailer for THE AVENGERS.
Today, Marvel Studios unveiled their first teaser trailer for THE AVENGERS, their superhero epic which brings together the likes of Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Black Widow, The Hulk, Hawkeye, Nick Fury and the rest of S.H.I.E.L.D. in every fanboy’s wet dream. The film is set to hit theatres on May 4, 2012, so we still have about eight months of excitement to try to rein in before Marvel unleashes the culmination of all the comic book crossovers they’ve thrown our way over the last few solo films. However, this is the Marvel Movie Universe at its finest, under the direction of Joss Whedon, putting together all the pieces for one epic movie. The teaser trailer should do exactly that – tease you thoroughly – and get you psyched for what’s to come in kicking off the summer blockbuster season of 2012.
Ladies, enjoy your Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans. The fellas have some Scarlett Johansson to look at… oh, yeah… plus explosions.
