Chip Kelly’s “Will You Shut Up!” Video Goes Viral

Chip Kelly screams, “Will you shut up!” to an Oregon Ducks fan who interrupts his interview

As a HUGE, and I mean HUGE, Oregon Ducks fan (my hubby played for them) I have to say that Saturday night’s game against Arizona State was an absolutely exciting game to watch.

The game was a real nail biter and tensions were high. Truly an impressive battle between two great college football teams. But the best part of the night (or the funniest at least) had to have been Oregon Ducks’ coach Chip Kelly‘s outburst, telling a disruptive Oregon fan to shut up in the middle of an interview. “Will you shut up!” Kelly barked as Oregon Duck fans video bombed his post-game interview with Erin Andrews. One particular fan screamed over Kelly’s shoulder (watch for him dive-bombing in from the left) and held up the Oregon Ducks’ “O” sign only to be ushered away by police.

By the time Chip Kelly turns to scream at the guilty party he was gone and the Oregon fan in the yellow sweatshirt is the one who ends up taking the heat. The epic moment? It has to be right after Chip Kelly yells, “Will you shut up” and the yellow sweatshirt guy drops his arms (and his smile), and deflates like a balloon in the summer sun. Exit stage left. The look on Erin Andrews’ face is priceless as well. As Chip Kelly loses his chit, Erin turns away and laughs.

Oregon Ducks fans will be happy to know that both “Chip Kelly” and “Will you shut up” are trending on Twitter. Good game tonight, boys! GO DUCKS!
