The new music video for Britney Spears’ “Criminal” has been released.
I really had to fight hard to get past the endless and repetitive flute in this rather boring song… but it always helps when there’s an accompanying music video that features Britney Spears having lots and lots of sex. And so is the way of Britney Spears’ new single “Criminal.”
So let me get this straight… the pop star goes from being in an abusive relationship with some well-to-do douchebag, and, when finally it reaches its breaking point, she goes off and shacks up with the guy who stood up for her at random, robbing liquor stores and engaging in other fugitive-type behavior…? That seems rather extreme. How come she can’t just go off and get an apartment with some guy in the suburbs… maybe get an office job… go to craft fairs on the weekend? No wonder this chick was messed up a few years ago. There’s no sense of normalcy in her head. I guess that’s what happens when you’re a part of the Mickey Mouse Club.
