Courtney Love and Fred Durst: Who would win in a fight??
Oh, how I love celebrity feuds, especially when they involve crazy, amped up celebrities, pseudo celebrities, or wannabe celebrities. Makes my day!
Two Fred Durst related posts in one day, wow…I’m feelin’ a flashback to the late 90s (or early 2000s)!
Anyhoo, Miss Love and her band Hole have apparently dropped out of Australia’s Soundwave Festival because she couldn’t handle the thought of opening up for a lowly and irrelevant band like Limp Bizkit. The festival, which is going to be held early next year (2012), is also supposed to include such acts as System Of A Down, Slipknot, Machine Head, and more. Not a bad bill!
NME reports that Love took to her Twitter to give AJ Maddah, the festival’s promoter, a piece of her mind about the whole event, saying, “What bloody flight of crazed fancy made you think we’d open for Limp Bizkit dude? No offence, that’s nuts.”
Righhhht, like she cares if she offends anyone?!
Well, Love’s (not so surprising) antics and temper tantrum didn’t sit too well with Maddah, who wrote back, “Like we were going to ask her [Courtney Love] permission every time we book a band. No point taking her back, only for her to cancel later, or turn up and act like a rotten twat to other artists and fans. I am really mad about this. I was given so many assurances that this would not happen when I took the booking.”
Well, he told her!!!
