“Very fashionable… these new bracelets will go with the one I had to wear on my ankle not too long ago…”
Lindsay Lohan’s probation has been revoked by a Los Angeles Superior Court judge following the actress’ failure to adhere to its terms.
I’m not exactly sure what Lindsay Lohan thought was going to happen when she decided following her probation just wasn’t convenient for her life, but today she found out, when, in an appearance before Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner, Lohan’s probation was revoked, and she was taken away in handcuffs as a result of her repeated violations.
“There has been violation after violation,” claimed the judge, as bail was set at $100,000, which was posted soon after for Lindsay’s release.
The city prosecutor recommended jail time, so that Lohan could properly serve the sentence for her, but a hearing has been set for November 2 for the judge to decide whether it’s back to the slammer for Lohan or perhaps something else… because whatever she had already received clearly wasn’t working.
Judge Lautner repeatedly chided Lohan for not following any of her court orders whether it was blowing off community service – not going at all, or showing up once for just an hour and then leaving – or not attending her court-ordered therapy on a weekly basis, particularly when she was traveling in Europe between September 9 and October 5. Way to piss off the judge, Lindsay… she should consider herself lucky it wasn’t Judge Judy presiding over this case, or she might have gotten the gas chamber. But she’s been given some room to show she’s making improvements. Judge Sautner highly suggested Lindsay finish at least 16 hours of community service at the county morgue before they meet again in November, but if you’re willing to wager that Lohan is finally going to adhere to the judge’s ruling this time… well, I’ll take that bet. Unless she can start snorting lines of cocaine off the cadavers during her community service, the odds are slim to none that she actually goes… and that’s with jail time on the line.
