Jennier Lopez, a.k.a. J. Lo, crying onstage at a concert this weekend
J. Lo is making the internet headlines today after allegedly breaking down mid-concert Saturday after singing her 1999 smash, “If You Had My Love.”
After the song J. Lo paused, put her hand to her chest and looked as though she might be ready to lose it. Not sure I would call this a “breakdown” exactly, as it has been posted on other gossip blogs, instead perhaps a moment of reflection. Rather anti-climactic if you ask me. When I heard “breakdown” I figured we’d at least get some tears or something. The rumors that she “stormed” offstage in a flubbery heap seem to be over exaggerated as well.
“I’m going to sing you the last song I wrote about love. A lot has changed since then,” said the songstress to her Connecticut audience Saturday, who wildly showed their support by cheering and yelling as J. Lo regained her composure. Some are still questioning whether or not J. Lo’s post-divorce tears were even real to begin with. Watch the video courtesy of TMZ and judge for yourself:
