Snooki Claims ‘The Situation’ Is Broke

Anyone who has watched MTV’s Jersey Shore this season, knows one thing about Snooki (aka Nicole Polizzi/Christina Aguilera doppelganger)…she is not a fan of Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, and she’s not afraid to talk trash on him.

Although I’m not a JS show buff, I will admit that I will watch the show when nothing else is on, and have only for the past season. There really is nothing like laughing at a bunch of drunks making fools out of themselves on television. Fun times.

Anyway, Ms. Snooki has been busy promoting her second, yes second book, but according to MSNBC, the reality star took some time out of her schedule to sit down for an interview with GQ magazine.

During what must have been a very deep conversation with the little guidette, the magazine asked Snooki what she likes to spend her moolah on. Her answer? “I save it. Jersey Shore is going to end soon. I’m not going to spend money like Mike. He’s already broke!”

Although, apparently the “Sitch” has secured a ‘series-development deal’ with MTV, I wouldn’t be surprised if he blew a bunch of his money already. He seems like the type to party hard, and there have been rumors for a while now that he was into so some hard stuff…like a very expensive ‘nose’ habit.  Hopefully he, and the rest of the crew for that matter, realizes their 15 minutes will not last forever and start seriously investing their dough.

In GQ’s tell-all interview, Snooki dropped another bomb which you might find even more shocking than the possibility that “The Situation” might be broke…she went to college! Supposedly, she was studying to be a veterinary tech. She told the mag, “I can induce an animal, do surgery, do anesthesia and take blood,” adding, “So if you want to tell me I’m stupid again, let’s go to an animal hospital.”

Although Snooki did attend some college, she hasn’t earned her degree just yet. She apparently put off her studies for her reality TV career. If she really is intelligent she’ll go back to school, because I just can’t see the general public being interested in her or the Jersey crew for much longer.

Fun fact: Snooki was asked to speak at New Jersey’s Rutgers University in April, and was paid $32,000 to do so. What’s interesting (code word for ‘sad’) is that she was paid $2,000 more than Nobel and Pulitzer Prize winning author Toni Morrison, who spoke at the universities’ graduation in May. Not surprisingly, her appearance sparked outrage among a lot of the student’s parents (and some of the students themselves.)
