Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney: Love is in the air for these two

Lady Gaga and her mom, Cynthia Germanotta, have created the Born This Way Foundation in an effort to inspire youth and support the anti-bullying movement.

According to MTV, Gaga released a statement about the youth organization. “My mother and I have initiated a passion project. Together we hope to establish a standard of bravery and kindness, as well as a community worldwide that protects and nurtures others in the face of bullying and abandonment.”

The Born This Way Foundation will be teaming up with several partners, including The John D. & Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, The California Endowment, and The Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University, and will put emphasis on “youth empowerment and equality by addressing issues like self-confidence, well-being, anti-bullying, mentoring and career development and will utilize digital mobilization as one of the means to create positive change.”

In other news, Lady Gaga, 25, is rumored to be dating Vampire Diaries actor Taylor Kinney. Kinney, 30, plays a werewolf on the television show, but played Gaga’s main man in her music video “You and I”. The two apparently met back in July while filming the video.

According to UsMagazine, a source close to the Born This Way singer said, “They’re hooking up and getting to know each other,” but claims that they aren’t serious, adding,” Gaga can’t be too committed because she works 24/7, but she thinks he’s supercute!” 

When the magazine asked Kinney’s Vampire Diaries’ costar Kat Graham if he was a romantic-at-heart kind of a guy, she answered, “Gaga would know more than I would! But he’s genuinely sweet — not an a–hole actor at all!”

I guess he could take that as a compliment…ha!
