Shakira gets her star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame

Shakira received a well deserved star on Hollywood’s Walk Of Fame Tuesday, and man, did girlfriend work it.

Posing for photos at the Induction Ceremony held in Hollywood, Shakira made the most of her star moment in front of the W Hollywood Hotel. She thanked everyone in attendance and told a story of her mother predicting the moment. “When I was seven years-old, I came to Los Angeles for the first time and I passed by the Walk of Fame with my mother. I remember that my mom told me, ‘Shaki, one day you are going to have your name on this place.’ ” she said. “If someone had heard that conversation, they would have thought she was insane.”

Shakira is the first Colombian artist to receive a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame. Congratulations, gorgeous!
