Ashton Kutcher is forced to apologize on Twitter, after making comments criticizing the firing of Joe Paterno at Penn State in light of the child sex abuse scandal being investigated at the school.
I can’t fault Ashton Kutcher for taking the ridiculous paycheck he’s probably receiving for replacing Charlie Sheen on TWO AND A HALF MEN, turning a mediocre show into just a bad one by his sheer presence alone. I can’t blame him for nailing Demi Moore after all these years, as plastic surgery has kept her remaining quite hot. The jury is still out on him banging some other woman, although it’s probably true, so he’ll have some wrath coming his way soon enough… but taking to Twitter to criticize the decision to fire Joe Paterno when you’re not aware of all the details surrounding his dismissal from Penn State following the child sex abuse scandal that’s been going down as of late…? There’s no excuse for that.
Kutcher took to his own Twitter yesterday to ask “How do you fire Jo Pa? #insult #noclass as a hawkeye fan I find it in poor taste.” You know what I find in poor taste… kids being raped on-campus by a former defensive coordinator, and no one reporting it to the police.
What’s that you say, Ashton? You didn’t know that was going on…? You just wanted to jump right out into the world of social media to make a comment to your millions of followers, not knowing a damn thing about it…? “Heard Joe was fired, fully recant previous tweet! Didn’t have full story. #admitwhenYoumakemistakes.” Nice to see you removed your initial comment, so you don’t look like a dumb-ass forever.
“As an advocate in the fight against child sexual exploitation, I could not be more remorseful for all involved in the Penn St. case.” Clearly there’s only one way to make up for this… SHUT UP!!! No one needs to hear thoughts formed in Ashton Kutcher’s head, as he tweets them just to get something out there, when they are half-assed and stupid. Know what you’re talking about, and then you can talk, because this constant diarrhea of the Twitter-verse by celebrities, typing to read their own words, has got to stop.
Agreed and well said!
He posted this today, http://aplusk.posterous.com/twitter-management
He contradicts himself though. He prides himself on being a big football fan and even says that he follows Joe Paterno, but then says he had no idea this was going on? How many times can someone get away with claiming ignorance? He needs to go away.
