Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson sexin’ it up in “Breaking Dawn”
The upcoming release of “Breaking Dawn – Part 1” is getting fans all in a tizzy, but bring up the much-heard-about sex scene between Bella Swan and Edward Cullen, and everyone’s head just about explodes.
Either way, it makes for good gossip.
Kristen Stewart (Miss Bella herself) sat down with MTV News to talk about much anticipated film, and specifically her and costar Robert Pattinson’s love scene. When asked what she felt like when she saw the final cut of the scene, Stewart answered, “I think, for me, it really reflects what I felt when I was reading the book. It’s funny, because it’s not in the book. It’s totally just what you imagine in between those chapters, but without it, because you imagine it, it leads you to — it picks up right after, and then sort of really indulges in memory. And so I think that’s how you see it. It’s not a beginning-to-end sex scene; it’s memories, it’s nice. So because of that, I never really got to shoot, we didn’t shoot a sex scene; it was all close-ups and such.”
Her hunky lover (both on screen and rumored in real life) Robert Pattinson, gave a little more satisfying explanation of the steamy scene.
“That’s the one time where I have felt kind of like the coolest person,” Pattinson said of doing the scene. “[I thought] this is easy! I can fulfill people’s sexual fantasy expectations without even thinking about it, piece of cake. That isn’t acting.” Awww, that’s so sweet!
There was one thing though, that Pattinson felt was demanding. He says, “The only thing [that was difficult] is the vanity aspect. Taylor [Lautner] just ruined the whole series for me. As soon as he buffed up, I went, ‘Well, I’m throwing in the towel’ on ‘New Moon.’ ” Ha! Something tells me Pattinson shouldn’t have to fret too much about his looks. He has quite the fan base, and it seems he has the heart of his love K. Stew.
