Together no more: Kat Von D and Jesse James
With James’ most recent relationship, or as comedian Dane Cook would have called it (circa 2005ish), a “relations**t”, with famous tattoo artist/reality TV star/clothing and makeup designer Kat Von D, it seems the cheating shenanigans that the public and ex-wife Sandra Bullock unfortunately found out about almost two years ago, haven’t stopped due to the alleged ‘treatment’ he underwent before going out with Miss Von D.
Sadly, as most people might have imagined would’ve happened, James did what should come as no surprise, and cheated on Kat, and now after their break-up, she is finding out he did the deed with multiple people while they were together…19 times, and (still) counting!
A once trusting Kat, (who has been on and off again with James since late 2010), took to her Facebook page (via Twitter) Sunday to vent a bit.
In a summarized version, here is what she had to say:
“Today I encountered the 19th girl to add to the list of people Jesse cheated on me with during this last year. I kept going back and forth in my mind as to what the best way would be for me to release and let go of any residual feelings remaining from that toxic relationship.”
She adds, “There was a time when I was confident and excited at proving the world wrong, because I believed so deeply in people’s ability to change for the better. Although this was not a primary purpose in the relationship, I did feel like it would be a positive thing for those who judged Jesse solely based on what they read in tabloids, to see that change is always possible – even in the people who seem hopeless.”
Now, Kat says she ‘gets it’:
“I know I deserve a big fat ‘I told you so,’ from everyone,” she says, adding, “and wish I didn’t have to say, ‘You all were more right than you’ll ever know’ but you were.”
Kat goes on the say that her experience with Jesse has allowed her to feel regret for the first time and that while writing this public display of grief she has never felt so strong about “True Love” than she does now.
She closes the note saying, “Time is something you can never get back, and what we do with this very present moment is the most real thing we have. So if that’s the lesson Jesse forced me to face and learn by all of this, than all I can say is Thank You.”
And that’s all she wrote…actually it’s not, if you would like to read Kat’s much extended version of the letter, click HERE.
So what do you all think? Do you feel bad for Kat, or was she too naïve in trusting Jesse James?
