Hana Titanium Flat Iron Review

As a longtime flat iron user I was anxious to learn about Hana’s Titanium Flat Iron, a professional ceramic flat iron with tourmaline.

My hair is to my waist, super thick and naturally out-of-control. To top it off, I live in the Seattle area where humidity and rain are a girl’s worst enemy when it comes to her hair. FRIZZ city! I have owned flat irons of all kinds and have generally found that you get what you pay for. I have owned a CHI, and less expensive flat irons, but the CHI was my favorite despite the cord issues it had (Google it.)

As for the HANA titanium flat iron itself, it is the single greatest hair tool I have ever owned – and I am not exaggerating. With my thick, long hair, I found that the Hana Titanium could handle large sections of hair at a time with no problem. This is a bonus of course, because it’s a huge time saver. (Also, no snagging!) When you have as much hair as I do, anything to cut corners and make the process a faster one is welcome. I also found my hair to be incredibly smooth and sleek, like I had literally just walked out of an upscale salon. Finally! No B.S., a flat iron that gives you the hair you’ve always wanted. I know it sounds cheesy, but ladies, I’m not pulling your ponytail when I say that this flat iron will not disappoint.

The real test was going out on a drizzly, humid, Seattle night. Would my hairstyle hold? Would my hair frizz, poof-out, curl by the time I had reached my destination?

Normally it would take only minutes to ruin my carefully straightened hair, but I was pleasantly surprised when my hair did not frizz and stayed smooth and soft all night long. In fact, I found that after straightening my hair with the titanium HANA that it stayed for days. A little “bed head” can easily be ironed out in just a minute or two. Heavenly!
