I used to be the BIGGEST Rick Springfield fan ever in the early 1980s, like every other female that was living at the time. I had Tiger Beat posters of him sprawled all over my bedroom and although I had more posters of Michael Jackson, Rick Springfield’s were a little more special because he was so hot in those pink skinny ties and baby blue shirts. It was purely sexual.
Sadly Rick just doesn’t do it so much for me anymore, BUT he did rock it on Californication, which still has me cracking up every time I watch it. Rick must still be a bit of a party boy after that wild DUI he got a few months back too. I doubt playing the part of “Rick Springfield, highly sexualized aging rock star” was much of a stretch…heh.
Rick, please cut your hair and get rid of the Howard Stern glasses!
