Jimmy Fallon does his best Jim Morrison impression in order to belt out the theme song to READING RAINBOW.
I’m not particularly a Jimmy Fallon fan. I never really found him funny when he was on SNL, which is no surprise as that’s the show where comedians go to die. Aside from segments here and there, I’ve never really found his brand of LATE NIGHT to be entertaining. I’m just not a Jimmy Fallon guy. However, I will admit that every so often, he surprises me when he busts out with one of his musical impressions and uses it in a creative way.
Case in point, last Friday night, Fallon broke out his best Jim Morrison, complete with The Doors-style backing band, to give one unique rendition of the theme song to PBS’ READING RAINBOW. LeVar Burton would be proud.
