‘Body of Proof’ Casey Anthony Episode

Casey Anthony

ABC’s television drama series “Body of Proof” has decided to tape a new episode based on Casey Anthony’s murder trial, but with a small twist.

According to EW.com, the story will go something like this: A young female named Hillary Stone is acquitted for murdering her son, and on the day she is released from prison, “Tot Mom” finds out the ‘real’ drama ensues.

Why you ask?

Because a Nancy Grace-type “journalist” named Shelia Temple (played by Marcia Gay Harden), who has been covering the story, decides to go after her for answers and possibly to seek justice for the little boy. Rita Wilson is set to play Hillary’s mother Ruth.

Executive Producer Sunil Nayar explains, “This is an important case to us because we don’t do a ton of ripped of the headlines cases. But it became this sensational case nationwide. There were very human elements. [In our episode] we explore what happens when the media takes over a case.”

So, do you think this is classless on ABC’s part, for trying to cash in on the Anthony trial, or does it make for good TV?  We want to hear what you think!
