Ashton Kutcher tried to buy Demi Moore a car for her birthday, in order to prevent divorce.
When divorce is on the table, and you’re going to make a last ditch effort to save the marriage, the best thing to do is obviously to try to buy their love with an expensive car they could have afforded on their own. Ashton Kutcher, thank you for the lesson.
According to TMZ, just a shade under two weeks before Demi Moore announced her parting of the ways with Kutcher, the TWO AND A HALF MEN star went about landing her a high-end Lexus for her birthday. Kutcher paid six figures for the 2012 Lexus LS 600h L hybrid, but clearly it didn’t do the trick, because Moore peaced out anyway. Apparently luxury vehicles don’t do the trick anymore when the rumors of your cheating become so widespread. At least Kobe bought his wife a huge diamond when he was labeled a rapist. You’d think Kutcher would have splurged a little more in trying to keep his wife. Then again, whoever thought Kutcher was a smart one? Not this guy.
