Drop in the Bucket event to be held at the Avalon Theater on November 30th, 2011
On November 30th, 2011, the Avalon Theater in Hollywood is going to be the place to be, as a long list of who’s who in rock and metal show their support by performing at a benefit concert for the Drop in the Bucket charity.
The concert, which is being sponsored by Revolver Magazine, will be hosted by Henry Rollins, and will showcase performances by Jane’s Addiction’s Dave Navarro, Anthrax’s Scott Ian, Slayer’s Dave Lombardo, members of Rob Zombie’s band, including guitarist John 5, and Slipknot/Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor.
Artist Shepard Fairey (who also designed the poster the event) will be serving as a guest DJ, and actress Kate Flannery (from The Office), will be appearing with her musical comedy group The Lampshades.
Drop in the Bucket, which helps raise money to build water wells and sanitation systems in South Sedan, is a Los Angeles – and Gulu, Uganda-based non-profit organization that formed in 2006. For more information on the charity, please click HERE.
All proceeds from the show will go to Drop In The Bucket.
