There’s a reason why Daniel Day-Lewis typically leads the conversation when you bring up who the best working actor today is. It’s because he can transform into the 16th President of the United States with relative ease when necessary.
DDL was spotted dining at a restaurant in Richmond, Virginia by Michael Phillips (@UVAMichael), who, for some reason, has now protected all of his tweets going forward. I guess he’s not desperate for any type of fame (**cough** Kardashians **cough**). Anyway, Phillips snapped a pic of Daniel Day-Lewis at his table, and… well, let’s just say that even without the hat and his Presidential wardrobe, the actor looks remarkably like Abraham Lincoln.
LINCOLN, Steven Spielberg’s long-anticipated biopic of Honest Abe, is set for release in December of 2012.
