Hugh Jackman’s wife Deborra-Lee Furness addresses the rumors that her husband is gay.
Did you hear the one about Hugh Jackman being gay? Me neither, but I guess it was bound to come up given Jackman’s propensity for Broadway musicals, singing and dancing.
In any event, Jackman’s wife Deborra-Lee Furness spoke to the New York Post’s Page Six about the rumblings, where she basically stated that neither her or her husband pay much attention to them, other than feeling the need to address them in the press. ”The line I heard was, ‘Wolverine? Who would have thought?’ Hugh and I don’t pay much heed [to the rumors].”
Well, that settles it for me. Then again, I don’t really find these “coming out” stories newsworthy as it is. If someone’s gay, they’re gay. I don’t see why people feel the need to make a big deal about it. No one cares that much when someone says they’re straight, so who cares? But I needed an excuse to share this extra manly Wolverine video with you, and here it is.
