Rihanna’s Blonde Ambition Leaves Us Missing the Old Rihanna

I know I am going to get hate for this, I know it, but I have to say it. I cannot stand what Rihanna has morphed into.

Rihanna used to be a beautiful girl, I mean, of course she’s still gorgeous, but it’s a completely different look than when she first came on the scene. What I used to love about her was the girl-next-door look she had, there was a certain innocence about her, a sparkle in her eye, even. It’s like, ever since Lady Gaga and her Kermit the frog dress/meat dress/ lace face came along there are certain pop stars who have changed their looks to be more outrageous, eye-catching and usually ridiculous. The oversexed stripper clown look is boss right now…and it’s pathetic.

Orange makeup … blonde wig that has it’s own butth*le … it’s a big FAIL.

It’s funny. So many pop and rock stars talk about “loving who you are” and “staying true to yourself” but it’s all a bunch of crap. Once into the machine, you know, the jackpot of fame, they all morph into these weird characters, nothing like what they were originally.
