Alec Baldwin Booted Off Plane

American Airlines doesn’t mess around when it comes to keeping their flying patrons in line, whether or not they’re a celebrity.

According to The Washington Post, funnyman actor Alec Baldwin was booted off an American Airlines flight Tuesday for playing the popular Scrabble game called “Words With Friends”. After a flight attendant confronted him, the actor took to his Twitter account (like so many celebs do these days after confrontations like this), to say, “Flight attendant on American reamed me out 4 playing WORDS WITH FRIENDS while we sat at the gate, not moving”, followed by the hashtag “#nowonderamericaairisbankrupt”. Baldwin then tweeted, “#theresalwaysunited”.

Apparently Michael J. Wolf, who is Activate.com’s founder, was also present on the flight along with the famous motivational speaker/author Grant Cardone, and not so surprisingly, both of them hit up their own Twitters to tell the world what had just happened.

Wolf commented, “On an AA flight at LAX. Alec Baldwin removed from the plane. We had to go back to the gate. Terrible that everyone had to wait.”

Possibly joking, Cardone said about the incident, “[Alec] didn’t have his Capitol One Card and [was] abusive to attendant is what I was told by AA authority.”

Once removed from that particular flight, Baldwin was escorted to another AA flight where he tweeted, “Now on the 3 o’clock American flight. The flight attendants already look…..smarter”, adding, “Last flight w American. Where retired Catholic school gym teachers from the 1950’s find jobs as flight attendants.” Always the jokester!

No word yet on American Airlines’ side of the story.

I love Alec Baldwin and I think he’s funny as heck, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he was verbally abusive to the flight attendant, given his past behavior.
