Korn’s Jonathan Davis
Recently Jonathan Davis, lead singer of Korn, spoke up about his thoughts on our President, The White House, and America…and he didn’t hold back.
Rolling Stone reports that the heavy rock singer called President Obama an “Illuminati puppet” in an interview with Billboard. Says Davis, “He’s basically dragged this country down into the worst it’s ever been. Like I say about the White House, ‘You’ve built this house of shame.’ Everybody looked up at the White House and America and now I think it’s like a house of shame. I miss the old days when people were proud to be American.”
Apparently the whole conversation started with talk about the new Korn song titled “Illuminati”, off their newest album Path of Totality, which was released earlier this month.
I understand that everybody has an opinion, and totally respect when musicians (or anyone in the entertainment industry for that matter), use their voice to help bring about change or whatnot, but when it comes to my rock stars, I subscribe to the motto, ‘less talk and more rock’. Is that so wrong?
