Batman’s In Big Trouble In New Poster For The Dark Knight Rises

Earlier this week, Warner Bros. released the new teaser one sheet for next year’s highly anticipated conclusion to Christopher Nolan’s Batman series, THE DARK KNIGHT RISES. And this time the Caped Crusader is clearly in some big trouble.

Hitting theatres to accompany THE DARK KNIGHT RISES six-minute prologue which is attached to 70mm IMAX prints of MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – GHOST PROTOCOL and a new trailer that should be connected to SHERLOCK HOLMES: A GAME OF SHADOWS in regular theatres, the new poster displays a broken Batman cowl lying on the ground in the middle of the storm as the brute, destructive Bane walks away in the distance. Does this allude to a less-than-triumphant end for Batman? Or is that only what they want you to believe? We’ve got seven months to go crazy guessing until THE DARK KNIGHT RISES lands in theatres on July 20, 2012.
