Courtney Love’s Getting Evicted From A $8M Home

House of Chaos: Courtney Love

Leave it to Courtney Love to get evicted from a $27,000-a-month rental house for causing havoc and a fire to the property.

The chaos storm that’s Courtney Love was given an eviction notice after the owner of the $8M historical home, Donna Lyon, accused her of causing more than $100,000 worth of damage to her house since moving in, along with more than $55 K in backed up rent, according to the Daily Mail.

Apparently, the 46-year-old Love moved into the New York house in the beginning of 2011, and as part of the rental contract, she agreed to leave the home and its many antique belongings as is. Lyon says Miss Love did not hold up her end of the deal, saying, “Courtney has wallpapered and painted a large portion of the property without my consent. I learned about this when I wanted to sell the house and had photographs taken. They sent me the brochure and I said, ‘This can’t be my property’. I came to New York to see it and was horrified by what had been done. The walls that had been hand painted and glazed were ruined, covered in damask wallpaper and ice blue paint.”

As for the fire Love supposedly ignited inside the property, Lyon states, “I got a call from her accountant who said ‘Miss Love is fine’, which I was glad to hear, but I thought ‘What about the house?’”

Love, who is due in court next week over the unpaid rent, was not available for comment.

I don’t think Courtney will ever ‘grow out’ of this type of behavior…she will be pushing 90, leaving a trail of destruction behind her, while we all wonder ‘what the h-e-double-hockey-sticks?’
