A7X Live in San Jose, CA on December 16, 2011
The band chose to play a free show in the Bay Area at the HP Pavilion to ‘make up’ for the Rockstar Uproar festival show they had to miss earlier this summer in Mountain View (due to singer M. Shadows’ illness), and oh yes, they did deliver. They have the stage presence, the musical talent and vocal skills, and they even get the crowds HOT…by adding fun pyrotechnics. Rock and roll at its finest.
A7X pleased the crowd with a good and varied selection of songs from their 12-year history, including older favorites like “Unholy Confessions” and “Chapter Four”, to newer hits like “Nightmare” and “So Far Away”, which was dedicated to their late drummer, The Rev. There was a little something for everyone and the fully packed and sold-out arena was full of energy, with good vibes all around.
If you have never seen Avenged Sevenfold before, I suggest you do. They will blow your mind!
Worth a mention: Opening for the band were The Black Veil Brides, Asking Alexandria, and Hollywood Undead, which all in their own rights, rocked the house.
