Jon Bon Jovi posted this photo on Twitter proving he is still alive
Someone came up with the idea to create a new blog then write about how Jon Bon Jovi died, how Megan Fox has HIV and who knows what will be served up on Wednesday.
The WordPress blog, “dailynewbloginternational” popped up out of nowhere Monday with the story of how Jon Bon Jovi was dead at the age of 49. For some asinine reason people believed the death rumor, despite there being no source or proof of the claim. Next thing you know, it’s viral and trending. (It garnered more than 10K Facebook shares too.) Even Jon Bon Jovi himself caught wind of his “death” so he posted a real-time photo on the band’s Twitter account to prove he is alive and well.
“Heaven looks a lot like New Jersey” -jbj. Rest assured that Jon is fine! This photo was just taken.”
Are we sure he wasn’t talking about hell?
On Tuesday the strange blog posted yet another phoney article titled, “Megan Fox is the 14th Hottest Woman of All Time: HIV POSITIVE.” The article is a big sham, short and poorly written. After suggesting the starlet has HIV it simply ends with the juvenile sentence: “Would you still do Megan Fox if u know that she has a HIV positive?”
Someone set us up the bomb.
You see where this is going. What will tomorrow’s brilliant “article” be? Oddly enough, the blog owner has no ads on the site, which I find bizarre considering I would think they would want to profit off their ridiculousness.
Friends don’t let friends fall for stupid celebrity death rumors. In this day and age of technology it’s simple to find out breaking news (including deaths) with a click of the keyboard, so believing someone died without confirming it is just plain laziness. Let’s not send people off the Jersey before their time, yo.
