Courtney Shows Off The House She’s Evicted From

Several days ago Celebrity Smack reported that Courtney Love is currently in the process of getting evicted from the townhouse she rents in New York (for $27k a month!), but that won’t stop her from showing off the work she put into decorating that bad boy!

Just a quick recap: Donna Lyon is accusing Love of causing more than $100,000 worth of damage to her $8M historical home since moving in, and she claims that the Hole singer owes more than $55K in back rent. Lyon also is irked that Love took it upon herself to redecorate the interior of the house without her consent (Love denies this, and says she was given permission). Not only is Love fighting the eviction, but she wants the world to have a look-see at what she did with the house, and has given xoJane.com a personal tour of the fancy mansion. [xoJane.com is a women’s lifestyle website that was created by Jane Pratt (of Sassy and Jane magazine fame) and was launched earlier this year. The pictures show off Love’s unique personal home-decorating style chock-full of artwork by Gretchen Ryan and Damien Hirst, Buddhist statues, Victorian furnishings, lots of color, and even a globe that once belonged to her late husband Kurt Cobain. Check it out HERE.
