Pink Shells Out $5,000 To Save A Puppy’s Life

TMZ reports the 32-year-old singer, and new mother to 6-month-old daughter Willow, was browsing the internet news recently when she came upon a story about a puppy that was thrown off an L.A. overpass and into a river by some EVIL moron.

After learning the poor dog suffered several broken bones from the fall, and needed immediate major surgery, Pink jumped on the opportunity to help. She quickly contacted the Ace of Hearts animal rescue organization and scheduled the procedure that would spare the dog’s life, and even offered to foot the bill.

With that, the pup had the required $5,000 surgery, has since recovered, and thanks to Pink, has now been adopted by a family.

I loved her before, but I love her even more now.

Side note: According to Gossip Cop, after running the story, TMZ’s Harvey Levin tweeted the question; “I think @pink did great by saving dog. But there’s a debate. Spend 5k on 1 dog that’s really sick or use $$$ to rescue 10 dogs w/ food, etc.”

After catching word about the tweet, Pink (who is not a fan of the paparazzi), shot back, “@HarveyLevinTMZ I do both actually. At least I don’t spend my money employing criminals to go+harass people. Maybe you should save something?”
